OSHA Online Training In Maine
Maine is a state that shares borders with the Canadian provinces of New Brunswick and Quebec, as well as the vast and resourceful Atlantic Ocean. The state's thriving economy is fueled by six major industries: agriculture, fishing, shipbuilding, healthcare, tourism, and mining, all of which contribute to its steady growth. Maine utilizes sustainable farming methods to produce significant agricultural products such as blueberries, potatoes, and livestock products, including poultry and eggs. Maine is one of the States that has its own OSHA Maine Official State Plan for local and state employees. Moreover, the private sector of Maine is covered by Federal OSHA Maine Jurisdiction. The regulatory body which enforces OSHA Maine is the Maine Department of Labor (MDOL) which conducts all the OSHA Maine inspections and complaints. As far as the private sector is concerned, it is covered by Federal OSHA Jurisdiction.

Why Is It Necessary To Take OSHA Maine Certification?
The OSHA Maine State Plan is administered by two separate regulatory bodies that apply to employers and employees. Although the training requirements for public sector employees are similar to those of Federal Standards, extra training may be necessary, such as that needed by Maine's VDT Standards (MRSA Title 26, 252). To further assist the employees and employers, OSHA MDOL offers free consulting.
Federal OSHA and MDOL recommend that entry-level workers have exposure to a general overview of site safety since Federal OSHA Standards require training on specific topics for every worker under its jurisdiction. MDOL's website encourages public sector employers to be in a similar category. Because of this, the Federal OSHA has solely created 30 Hour training for managers and supervisors and 10 Hour courses for novice workers. OSHA Maine recommends OSHA Maine Certification even though it is not required because most employers in Maine need "Department of Labor Cards" as a requirement for their safety training.
