8-Hour Fall Prevention

Falls are the most common cause of workplace injuries and deaths. Many workers are affected by falls due to a lack of attention, knowledge, or personal protective equipment. This course will provide all the necessary information for workers to know to prevent workplace injuries and accidents due to falls. The 8-Hour Fall Prevention courses fulfills NYC DOB training requirements and help trainees earn an SST card.

Training Process

Per Local Law 196, in order to continue to operate in the City of New York, some workers and supervisors are required to complete a minimum number of hours of approved site safety training. This NYC Department of Buildings-Approved curriculum is a prescribed (required) course that fulfills one of the requirements for an individual applying for a Site Safety Training (SST) Card.
